KAOMA ECZ STAFF TRAINED AHEAD OF ELECTORAL NOMINATIONS.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) staff from Kaoma District are undergoing intensive training in Chongwe District in preparation for the forthcoming nominations of parliamentary candidates, council chairpersons, and councillors.

The Kaoma delegation comprises Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers, and Technical Support Officers. The team is being led by District Electoral Officer, Lisa Mpasela.

Speaking shortly after the five-day training, Ms. Mpasela expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills gained will enable the team to effectively and efficiently manage the nomination process.

She added that the training has equipped officers with the necessary competencies to ensure a smooth exercise during the nomination period, which is scheduled to run from 18th to 21st May 2026.
